The Integrated Science Subject Panel achieved Second Runner-up (KS3 Science and Technology) in the Blended Learning Case Contest 2024/25, co-organized by Hong Kong Baptist University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
The award-winning learning case focuses on the Junior Science Curriculum, particularly the topic “Looking at Living Things – Classification”. The lesson integrates both online and offline teaching, enabling students to first observe the key characteristics of various categories of organisms. They then engage in research and analysis through classroom activities to create a dichotomous key for classifying these organisms, ultimately improving their learning outcomes.
Teachers of the subject panel were invited to join a study tour in April 2025, travelling to Singapore for exchange. They visited the Ministry of Education and local universities to learn about the latest technologies in digital education and blended learning.
