This competition aimed to deepen students’ understanding of town planning and cultivate their interests in the town planning industry, so that they can become a new generation of town planners in the future.
The students won the admiration of the Director and the Deputy Director of the Planning Department with their creative and people-centered renovation proposal for Lau Fau Shan securing the second place. The awardees were Form 6 Matthew: Man Tsz Yat, Ng Pak Hei, and Wong Ying Tung; and Form 6 Luke: Chung Yuen Man and Wong Hoi Man.
The submissions from the eight shortlisted teams were of high quality. During the Final Presentation, the shortlisted teams used their creativity to present their innovative ideas in different forms for the future of Lau Fau Shan, which were highly appreciated by the adjudication panel.
